This is a simple pcb to move a 28BYJ-48 stepper motor using a microcontroller (ATMega8 or ATMega328) and a ULN2003.
There is a P-mosfet on board to be able to turn on or off the stepper motor. A resistor in parallel with the mosfet (R3 or R6) reduces the standby current without turning it off and avoid losing steps.
